The WORST customer service from the receptionist. I am guessing that she owns the company and that is the only reason she still has a job. The other personnel at Shalimar Fence were/are great. I have had my fence for less than a year and the gate is sagging. I wrote an email asking if it was still under warranty and they wrote back and told me that it was and that they would send someone out to look at it. A week later I called the office to see if they had me on the schedule and I got berated by the receptionist telling me that she has no control over what "He" does and that all she can do is give him a message. I asked if there was any way to possibly get a heads up the day prior to coming out so that I can put my dog inside and unlock the gate. Again, she very angrily told me that she had no control over "his" schedule. I asked if she could contact him and find out. I was told NO. A week later I write an email explaining that I would be off the next day from work and if possible if someone could come out on that day. No reply. The following day I get 2 phone calls telling me that they are going to be at my house in 15 minutes to replace the gate. I explained to the gentleman that was coming by that my dog was out back and the lock was on the gate and that I could not leave work. He was very kind and understanding. I then by mistake called the other number and got the receptionist again. She began to berate me again about her lack of control and then asked me if my dog was Unapproachable. I explained that I did not want my dog running the streets and that is why I have been trying to reach out to make sure that things were taken care of prior to their arrival. I finally called the first number back and he was very nice about rescheduling for the next day when we could prepare.

I read the other reviews and have to disagree. They built a beautiful fence for us, and cleaned up their stuff. Yes there were extra dirt from where the holes were dug, but it was in a neat pile next to it, and was not a big deal. The best part was we did NO LABOR! If you ever built a fence, you know it is hard work! Thanks Shalimar Fence!
I don't get home from work till 3:45 PM. Apparently they won't come out to do an estimate that late. Then they expect me to leave the gate unlocked so they can do their thing with me not there.
lisa goldsmith review is fake see below ! Worst company we could have picked DO NOT USE THEM. The fence had issues day 1. So we called them that day and there after for a month. Left messages and told the lady in the office ( who was very rude ) about all the split boards, broken pieces and sagging gate that would not even full open all the way and you have to lift to close it. We paided an extra $250 per gate… and they don’t even work ! We figured if we called they would send someone out to fix the issues. Not even a call back. The lady was rude in the office and was useless in resolving the problem … a year later and nothing. After about the 15th call we realized that they had their money and there was nothing we could do. on a good note we have a rustic/aged fence that looks like its 20 years old and survived hurricane Ivan but is really only 1 year old... not the look we were going but its what we have to deal with now.
It's too bad, I see their work and it looks great but after talking to them on the phone, they have lousy customer service.
Would NOT recommend even calling them.
3) I have a pool and if a kid goes through my unlocked gate and drowns, I get sued.

Originally had a LARGE amount of privacy fencing done by them. Now, when in need of repair and replacements, I can't even get a return phone call after speaking with their receptionist.
